This blog is an extension of Piece by Piece fabrics, a shop that specializes in contemporary fabrics. I hope that by sharing what is happening in the shop and with the people that work and play here that you will be inspired to explore sewing and quilting in a new way - and have fun with fabric.

I have enjoyed sewing as long as I can remember, from making clothes for dolls, to boxer shorts for my sons, to special quilts for my special people. I never met a color I didn't like and I get excited about the process of choosing fabrics for a new project.
